My Plate

The main nutrients in the foods from the five food groups are listed in Table 1 below. For this activity you will need to take a photo of a meal or draw a meal using the plate diagram below. Use the AGHE and the table to describe the food groups and key nutrients included in your meal. Analyse your meal against the guidelines. Do you think it is a balanced meal? If not, how could you make it healthier?
